Rated Breaking Capacity (Low-/High-Voltage Fuses)

Capacity of a fuse to operate between the lowest and the Rated Breaking Current. The Rated Breaking Current is an effective value. The laboratory, where the fuses are certified, gives the maximum of the Breaking Current. Normally the fuses can operate higher currents. Typical values for Low-Voltage are: 100, 120, 200 or 300 kA; for High-Voltage 20 - 63 kA.
